Who this covers

Medusa & Unagi is the home of Pulpa, an early game beta developed by Julio Gonzalez. This policy describes the current beta, this support website, and support email. It will be updated if the game’s services change.

Information in the game

Offline solo play runs on your device. The current beta has no permanent player account, advertising, purchases, or added gameplay analytics or tracking service.

The app stores music and reduced-motion preferences locally. Optional private LAN play also stores the last host address, room code, and reconnection token on your device. A LAN connection sends game actions and room/session information to the local host and other participants as needed to play. The host receives your network connection address. This is limited development-host play; Internet matchmaking and invitations are not available.

Automatic gameplay screenshots and performance/session captures are disabled in the release beta. This does not prevent diagnostics handled by iOS or TestFlight.

Apple TestFlight and Unity

If you test through TestFlight, Apple processes tester information, app usage, crash diagnostics, and feedback under its own terms. Feedback and crash information may be shared with the developer to investigate problems. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.

The game uses the Unity engine. The current game scene does not initialize Unity Analytics, advertising, or purchasing services. Unity’s engine privacy manifest covers its system APIs; it is not evidence of a separate gameplay analytics service. See Unity’s developer privacy information.

This website

We have not added website analytics, advertising trackers, or a public account system. Fonts and the small visual scene are served from this site. You can read support and privacy content without JavaScript or WebGL.

Vercel hosts this website and may process request information such as IP address, browser/request headers, requested URL, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver and protect it. See Vercel’s privacy notice. This is separate from gameplay analytics.

The private studio, when enabled, uses an essential encrypted session cookie to remember authorized access for up to eight hours. It is not needed on the public pages. Login attempts are subject to security controls. Signing out removes the studio session.

When you contact support

We receive your email address, message, and any attachments or diagnostic information you choose to send. We use them to reply, investigate bugs, and improve the beta. Support email is hosted by Zoho Mail; see Zoho Mail’s data privacy information.

Please send only what is needed. We do not sell support messages or use them for advertising. We retain correspondence while it is useful for support and resolving the issue, subject to service-provider storage and any legal obligations.

Your choices and requests

You can decline to send optional feedback or screenshots. Device preferences and LAN reconnection data are local app data; removing the app clears its local data, subject to any device backup you manage. Manage Apple’s data separately through Apple’s privacy controls.

For access, correction, or deletion requests concerning information you sent us, contact support@medusaandunagi.com. We’ll respond and handle requests as applicable to your circumstances and local law.

The game does not ask children to create an account or submit personal information. A parent or guardian can contact us about information a child may have sent through support.
